Teal Dear Trip: midnight-5:30 AM

After their finale and no fights whatsoever knock wood, the band headed to the La La Voodoo Lounge's parking lot to load Dave for the long trip back to Fandom.

"Do we have any snacks left over?" Zero asked as she carefully unwrapped the thingy enough to peer at its head. "D'you like cookies, little monster?"

"Who's got my tailypo?"

"No one here, that's for sure."

Nadia just harumphed and leaned back against the side of the van, holding her arm still.

Parker and her crew came straggling back-- with one extra ... person?

"What the hell happened to you guys?" Parker asked, before stomping over to the back of Dave, then sorting through the T-shirts for one big enough for a Bigfoot.

Bigfoot waved his map. Then grunted.

"Another one of what?" Chad grunted as they approached, not sure what to make of the two very different responses. When he looked up to see if they were in the company of another bigfoot, he stopped short as he took in the artfully ripped clothing.

"I think I chose the wrong group," he said, in a rare case of keeping his thoughts in check. Artfully ripped clothing could do that to even the best.

"What happened is that I was ruthlessly attacked by that--that--that thing!" Nadia pointed her left hand at Zero's jacket bundle, then snapped the arm back down by her side and went back to holding her shoulder with a wince. "Owwwwww,"

Zero cuddled the jacket bundle-thing, whose adorable little face and pointy ears were peeking out. "It's just a hurt little critter," she said defensively. "It was scared. And Nadia waved the fire at it."

....There was something fluffy, adorable, and cute peeking out from Zero's jacket bundle-thing. Ohmigod. Chad was there next to her in record time. "Can I pet it?"

Nadia squeezed her eyes shut in frustration. That thing's insidious cuteness had claimed another victim.

Parker came back from the back of Dave with a huuuuge T-shirt ("TEAL DEAR! LIVE IN CONCERT!") and a CD of Teal Dear's demo tracks. "Sorry you missed the concert, big guy. Bigfoot. Dude. Um. Yeah." She peered over at Zero, and looked askance at Nadia and Chad. "Okay, has that thing had its shots? Do we have to get shots for Nadia now?"

Pippi is scratching at some light but fresh looking claw and bight marks on her hands.

"Naw, it just shredded her sling... I don't think the sling needs shots... The sling didn't make it."

Poor sling.

Zero cuddled the thingy protectively. "It does not have rabies! Look, look, there's no foam at this mouth! And besides, we're goin' to have to take it to a vet. It's hurt. They can make sure we don't need rabies shots."

Nadia's eyes widened slightly at every mention of the word "shots". She was now in full on silent twitchy freak out mode. Seriously. I'm not sure she's blinked in, like, five minutes.

Jack had been watching Nadia get progressively more freaked out. It was starting to get to him, so he sidled carefully up to her, stopping with his shoulder brushing her not hurt one. "You okay?"

And that would be Nadia actually listening to herself for a moment.

"I've had a really, really, really long couple of weeks."

"Sounds like it." He studied her for a minute then carefully slipped his arm around her waist, offering what reassurance he could. "We'll be home soon. And the rat can get locked in a box or something."

Parker rolled her eyes, and went over to flip the hood up on Dave, making vaguely Bigfoot-like sounds as she did so. "This? Is a fan. Everyone should sign his map. He missed the concert."

Bigfoot held out the map, and then watched Parker for a moment, looking puzzled. Then grunted back at her, looking to Chad again.

Zero shifted her jacket bundle to one arm and said, "Always glad to meet a fan! Sorry you missed the show," as she fished around in her pocket for a pen. "Ow, no, thingy, don't bite my fingers." She found the pen and said, "What should I put?"

Chad tilted his head at Bigfoot with a questioning grunt to ask if he wanted anything in particular from the girls as they added their signature to the map, totally stealing his singular glory and making half of his autograph replete.
