After their finale and no fights whatsoever knock wood, the band headed to the La La Voodoo Lounge's parking lot to load Dave for the long trip back to Fandom.

Chad shrugged. "Think it just comes with the size."

As Pippi took her turn signing the map, Bigfoot leaned over, and yanked some wires loose from Dave.

"Hey!" Parker looked like she wanted to whap him, but didn't quite dare.

He moved one, then unscrewed a spark plug, did something-- did another something--

"Somebody stop him!"

Poured oil out of a part, put it back in place, then made key-turning motions at Parker.

"You have got to be kidding."

A grunt.

"FINE!"

Parker stomped her way over to Dave, and turned the key in the ignition.

...vrooooooooom!

"Yay!" Pippi cheered passing the map onto Nadia.

Jack moved so Nadia could sign the map and helped a very sleepy Isabel into the resurrected Dave. "Can we go home now? Not that it hasn't been fun, but I think we've pretty much exhausted the entertainment potential of the middle of nowhere."

Nadia scribbled something almost as illegible as Zero's signature and set the map down somewhere that Bigfoot could get it easily.

"Oh lord I hope so. I'm not getting into the van with the Tail-poo thingy, though."

Bigfoot stared at the Tailypo, then carefully cuddled it closer.

"Want my..." And Tailypo curled up and fell asleep.

There was a flash of huge white teeth in Bigfoot's face. Hopefully, that was a smile.

This was entirely to much for Pippi to take.

She grabs Bigfoot and sleepy Tailypo in a bug hug that lifts the sasquatch off his feet.

"Thank you for fixing our van! And taking care of the critter! And being the best fan ever!"

The very startled sound Bigfoot made translated across language barriers, but he didn't seem to mind too much. He patted Pippi on top of her head after she set him back down. Then he collected the map, T-Shirt, and CD.

Waving a careful good-bye to them, he turned to lope off into the woods, cradling his swag, live and otherwise.

"This is officially the weirdest road trip ever," Parker muttered.

"And it's still not my fault," Jack insisted, leaning out of the back of the van. "We leaving now?"

From somewhere in the back corner of the van, an already-sleeping Anders let out a snore that sounded like he was echoing Jack's question.

Nadia yawned in response to the snore.

Freaking out took a lot out of a person.

She gave a half-hearted wave, then decided that if she just didn't move her arm, she didn't need to make a sling, and crawled into the van to fall over on some conveniently warm and comfy guy.

Parker made sure Weiss wasn't going to fall out of the Porsche, buckled in, and muttered, "106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses..." And then chuckled as she took the next turn, back toward Fandom.

Pippi snuggled up in the "Lets keep warm" pile in the back of the van.

"Well... smelled better then jail."
