Music Room, Saturday Morning

Zero opened the door to the music room and peered inside. "Hello? If I'm not supposed to be here, someone kick me out now." Nothing happened immediately, so she carried her guitar in, then went back for the coffee.

Let the rehearsing begin.

Nadia made a beeline for the coffee as soon as she arrived.

Mmmm. Coffee.

"Sorry," Zero told her ruefully. "Mornin' was the only time I could be pretty sure no one had plans."

"S'okay." Nadia cradled the mug in her hands. "But only because there's coffee."

"Yay coffee," Zero agreed. Then she held out a sheet of staff paper. "Here. This is "The Final Countdown."" There were some rather interesting alterations in Zero's handwriting scribbled on the page.

Coffee? Coffee was good. Chad liked coffee, especially when Chad would probably normally still be sleeping right now.

Parker mumbled something half-asleep, and pushed the box of muffins towar the musicians. *Yawn*

Muffins were also quite a nice addition to coffee. He mumbled something back to Parker, though his mumbling was more from the food than the sleepiness.

Parker smiled drowsily, and said, "Morning. Ready to make some noise?"

Chad nodded a little as he sipped his coffee. "Always. Noise, good." It was appropriately grunted.

"Sorry about the early hour," Zero said to Chad. "I was afraid people'd be doin' stuff later on."

"Ah, naw, it's cool. Wasn't doing much today, anyway."

"Swerval." Zero held out a copy of "The Final Countdown" with hand-written alterations scribbled on it. "This is that song we've gotta play."

Parker came in yawning, but with a box of muffins from J, GoB, in case the band had to keep up their strength.

She sat down with her laptop, and started fiddling with the recording software. Might as well hear what they sounded like on playback. "Hey, Zero."

"Morning, Parker," Zero said from where she was tuning her guitar. "Ooh, muffins." The guitar could wait.

"Figured future rock stars needed to keep up their strength." Parker poured herself a cup of coffee. "Anything you want changed on the website? Aside from the links working, that is."

Agnes went for the coffee because it was hot and free.

Parker slid the box over to her, and smiled as she took another sip of coffee, and waggled her fingers.

"Mornin', li'l sis," Zero said, waving with the hand that wasn't holding a muffin. "Ready to rehearsinate?" She blinked. "Squall, I sound like Jaye."

Agnes nodded. "I'm ready. Chad said we would be performing next week?"

"That's the plan," Zero told her. "We've got a gig at Caritas."
