A petite girl with bright pink hair and eclectic clothes went to and fro, carrying her things across the lawn and upstairs to room 220. Occasionally she would stop to swear, kick something, or rest for a few minutes. Throughout the whole process a pink cockatoo sat on her shoulder, offering occasional helpful commentary such as, "ARE YOU MY MUMMY?"

((OOC: Zero's back! Open open open! Come say hi. Carry something and she'll love you forever!))

Peter walked down to the front lawn after hearing Angela's message. He figured that if some people were back, others might be, too, and just hadn't called yet to let people who were already here know that. If that made any sense.

And so here he was. And, hey, over there! There she was. "Hi," he said, walking up to Zero. "Your hair's still pink! I wasn't expecting that."

Peter caught Zero in a gleeful embrace. "It's been too long." Peter pullled back just enough to kiss her. "Seriously, I'm kind of grateful that the film school lost your enrollment. I was starting to go crazy without you."

"I appreciate that," Peter said, grinning. "I'm glad you're back. Now all of the new people get to meet the girl I'm been talking about so much they're probably sick of you."

"By being adorable," Peter said. "Do you want help carrying stuff?"

Peter slung the backpack on his shoulder and picked up the case. "Lead the way."

"So, did somebody drive you and they just didn't want to say hi to the boy who didn't marry and impregnate their daughter, or did you bus it?"

"Really?" Peter asked. "You're about to be Auntie Skankabelle?"

"They could call the kid 'Toby' for short," Peter pointed out.

"Okay, they can call him 'Named Later,' then," Peter said, walking inside and putting her stuff down. "Wow, so this is what it's like to be alone in a room together without a family member wandering in every five minutes on the dot. I forgot what that's like."

"I think I'm better with questions about your bird's parents than I am with an uncomfortable roommate," Peter said. "So we'll just have to deal with Fish, I think."

"I think that suggestion has a lot of merit and I'd appreciate it very much," Peter said, closing the door.

"I missed this, too," Peter said before leaning in for a kiss. "A lot."
