Parking Lot by Causeway, Saturday Afternoon

Even though it was just a short trip to Arlington, Zero had stocked Dave with snacks, a cooler full of drinks, and entertainment--such as 'Teach Yourself Guitar' and 'Drumming Made Easy.' Now all she needed was the band.

Dear squall, she hoped the band showed up.

Parker blinked at the supplies, then waved to Winslow. "Hi, Hannelore. Hi, Winslow. Thanks for being here."

"Hello," Hannelore said, waving. Winslow yelled another 'Salutations!'

He liked that word.

Parker had to grin, because Winslow was just way too adorable. "Ready for adventures at a rock concert?" She looked at Hannelore, and added, "Although, really, it should be fine. Without Pippi or Nadia here, we're only half as likely to get..." Parker suddenly realized that 'arrested' might not recommend itself to the new people. "--delayed!"

"Yeah! I brought disinfectant for the drum kit, and some gloves to wear while playing!" Hannelore said. "Think anyone would notice if I wore a surgical mask?"

Parker boggled at her a moment. "Um, yes? Not that you can't, it's-- a look. Pippi wore a pirate mask once. But, uh. Who are you supposed to be? Doctor Drums?"

"No, it's just probably really dirty onstage."

"Oh. Hunh. 'kay." Because it's not like she's wrong. This is just the first rocker that Parker has encountered who would care. "Sure. As long as it doesn't interfere with the drumming...."
