Zero had chucked most of the mess into her closets and covered Fish's cage. On top of the dresser was an array of takeout containers from Ching Tai: rice, spring rolls, dumplings, Kung Pao shrimp and Sichuan chicken, along with other selections. Chopsticks and forks for the less brave were sitting nearby, and ginger beer was chilling in the fridge, which could also provide milkshakes if anyone wanted those instead.

Now all she needed was the rest of the band.

((Closed to the band people. ~~Minimal OCD going up.~~ All right, have at it. This was supposed to go up earlier, but Comcast thought it would be cute to shut off my cable for maintenance.))

"Well, I know of one person who's already obligated to be a groupy." Nadia smiled. "But I can't think of anything right now. I just need my guitar, right?"

"Pretty much. It's not glam-rock, so I don't have to help you pick out any platform shoes. Who's your groupie? Walter? Rory already volunteered to be our band roadie-groupie." Parker grinned, and took a sip of her ginger beer. "Would you be okay with promoting the band on the Pirate Radio, in a couple weeks? I'm hoping to talk or bribe Barbossa into letting you guys on his show on Thursday."

"Sure. That sounds fine to me. And yeah, if Walter's not there for, like, every performance, I'll kill him."

This was all said with a smile, of course. She didn't really mean it.

Parker grinned. "Cool. And we'll make sure he can always get in for free. Have to enable the fan base, right?" She sighed happily. "I have soooo many ideas for this. Anything you definitely want done?"
