"Hey," Zero said, turning toward her. "Don't you have a boything?"
"I. Maybe?"
"Wanna take him to that new restaurant off campus where all the starthings always are?"
"What?"
"I have reservations. You can have them."
"...because you and your guy are going to be here 'getting reacquainted?'" Janine suggested hopefully.
"No, because he went to New York instead."
Janine blinked at her for a moment, then said decisively, "I'll get the ice cream and the slasher flicks. You wait here."
Zero mumbled something that might have been, "I'm not going anywhere," into her pillow.
