The A/V Lab, All Day Wednesday

Zero was, as had become her wont, camped out in front of a screen, lit by its pale glow. She was probably starting to look like she hadn't seen the sun in years, but the movie was really coming together.

Parker had brought popcorn and soda, and knocked on the door. "Hey, can I interrupt the creation of genius?"

Zero called through the door, "Sure, come on in. I'm just tryin' to figure out how much I can get away with before the ninja kills me."

"You have Miho footage? Ooooo." Parker shut the door behind her and took a seat next to Zero, and held out the popcorn with a grin. "Did you catch her pushing or hitting any of the other little people?"

"Yeah, there's a catfight with Tiny Professor Ares, but I haven't got it downloaded yet." Zero made grabby hands at the popcorn. "Food!"

Parker handed over the bowl with a grin, and popped open a Diet Coke. "Catfight. Awesome." She smirked. "Hey, if you have footage of Jarod digging up the lawn, that has to go in."

Zero typed away for a moment, clicked on a few icons, and, yes, brought up footage of Jarod digging up the lawn.

Parker chortled happily and snagged a piece of popcorn. "Perfect. You really got a lot of footage, didn't you?" She took a sip of her soda, eyes narrowing. "Can you show me the editing trick I was asking you about?"

"Well, I didn't sleep much," Zero said as she reached for yet another Mountain Dew. "Oh, yeah, sure, okay, what you're gonna want to do is this," she said as she began to handwavily explain to Parker how to insert a loop.

Parker watched as Zero went through the recording bits, and the cutting tricks, and nodded about checking the playback. "Can anyone tell you're doing this, while you're doing it? Or is it something they won't catch if you're careful?"

Zero shook her head. "Nah, if you're careful there shouldn't be any problems. But if you do get caught you did not learn this from me."

"Learn what from you?" Parker hid her grin behind the soda can. "Tap the feed, tape the feed, edit the feed, feed the feed. But you have no knowledge of feeding. Except for Fish."

"Exactly." Zero took a sip of her soda and said, "So, who else d'you want to see be weetiny or not themselves?"

"Hmm. Did you get any footage of Vader?" Parker asked hopefully. "Professor Deadpool said he was about four, or so. With a bucket. I would have *killed* to have seen that live."

Peter knocked on the door to the A/V lab and announced, "If anyone in this room would like a kiss from their boyfriend, we're having a special! Kisses are available for the low, low price of letting me watch genius at work!"

Zero laughed and called, "Then come in and kiss me!"

Peter walked in and kissed Zero. "Okay, time to see genius at work."

Zero obligingly cued up part of her film. "This footage," her voice said, "is so shocking that this is the first time it has been shown to the public." Onscreen, the tiny ninja jumped up and down in front of the counter at Jeff, God of Biscuits'.

"Oh my god," Peter said. "That's adorable."

Zero chewed on the end of a pen and smirked at him. "Isn't it just? So, what've you been up to while I've been in my cave, here?"

"Well, yesterday I fought a teacher with permission, and today I've been reading and healing up a bit from yesterday," Peter said.

"You what?" Zero asked. No, she hadn't been checking her voicemail much lately.

"My mentor? Deadpool? Like that name doesn't give the whole thing away," Peter said. "He had a brilliant idea that he'd have sparring matches with his mentees."

"Oh. I hope Vice-Principal Hades doesn't want to do that. I'd hate to beat up an administrator." Zero grinned at Peter. "So did you kick his arse?"

"I hit him pretty good a few times, but he's a professional mercenary. A good one, I guess," Peter said. "And he does a good job of making people mad and distracting them. Now I know what it's like to fight me."

"That should be helpful, right?" Zero asked hopefully.
