Barnes & Noble in Alexandria, Saturday Afternoon (NFB due to distance)

As the group entered the store, they were greeted by a crowd of women, all waiting to meet Angelica Demesnes. Large tables held copies of all her books for those who hadn't brought their own, including the brand-new Crown Diamond. Zero gleefully snatched up a copy of her very own.

"Hey, Jack. I was off-planet for a week or so, but it's been a lot longer than that, hasn't it?" Z held up a copy of The Zombie Survival Guide and said, "I wonder if this would come in handy."

"At Fandom? Definitely." He bumped his shoulder gently against hers. "It's been ages, and I left a message on your voicemail and never called you back, for which I am truly sorry."
