Barnes & Noble in Alexandria, Saturday Afternoon (NFB due to distance)

As the group entered the store, they were greeted by a crowd of women, all waiting to meet Angelica Demesnes. Large tables held copies of all her books for those who hadn't brought their own, including the brand-new Crown Diamond. Zero gleefully snatched up a copy of her very own.

((Due to Parker's connection woes, there will be no travel post. Come one, come all!))

Parker chortled. "Sadly, if they find you, they'll make you go home. But that doesn't mean you can't hide under one of the couches for a while."

"Don't they have book stores like this anywhere in Chorus? Or Trebond?" Parker looked around. It was a fairly ordinary B&N, aside from the margarita-ing author and the fangirls.

"Trebond? No way. We have Father's library and sometimes merchants bring books. In Chorus there's the market where I dig through to find books. But this many? No way."

"Ahhh. Well, knock yourself out." Parker looked around and grinned. "Welcome to the *really* cool thing about America and the 21st Century: everyone and his brother is writing a book."

"Oh, Alanna." Parker would've laughed evilly, but they might have thrown her out before she got her books signed. "Remind me to show you the treasure when we get back to Fandom."
