Zero came into the classroom and finished off her morning coffee as she wrote something on the board. Then she sat down to wait for Rita.

"Aw, so little," Rita cooed, reaching down to pet the kitten. Sadly, she did not speak cat, so she did not know she smelled like bugs.

Zero likes being petted. In fact, she likes being petted so much it drives all thoughts of scary-teacher-lady smelling like bugs right out of her wee cranium.
