swerval_zeroIn room 220, Zero sits down on the floor and sets out the Carouche blood she retrieved from the clinic and a tub of cow's blood from the butcher shop (she's not asking, they're not telling, anc vice versa), as well as two syringes and eyedropper, and attempts to cajole The Puppy over to her. The Puppy looks on her with distrust. Fish looks on The Puppy with distrust. It's like a vicious cycle of uncertainty.
Finally, she manages to capture The Puppy, and whispering, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry," the whole time, takes a syringeful of his blood before injecting him with a syringeful of the Carouche vampire blood. The Puppy yips once and goes limp.
For several minutes, she sits there holding The Puppy and crying. Then, suddenly, the puppy stirs and looks around. It has fangs. Zero carefully offers it an eyedropper-full of the cow's blood, which it drinks greedily before moving on to the tub.
