Dear Mum & Da,

Things are great here. I've been learnin' a lot, helping my fellow students, and participating in bonding activities. Nothing to worry about.

I've joined the music club, applied for a position as the librarian's assistant, and I was gonna apply for a job at the record store until the clerk started askin' me about my top five songs. I mean, the squall? How can you have just a top five. So I went off on him, but he seems real connected. He's got a copy of mum's Japanese single in the back of the shop. Anyway, since I clearly blew the 'payin' job' thing, please send money.

Don' worry about me, guys. I'll send a longer letter later.
