Zero got out of the cab and paid the driver, dragging her suitcase out with her. She watched as he sped away before she could even say, "Thank you," and sighed. They always seemed to do that when she came back to Fandom. She shrugged, picked up her suitcase, and had started toward the school when a Jeep pulled up and that Hispanic cop girl hopped out. Z, she thought her name was. She wasn't wearing her uniform now, though, she was wearing grey sweats and a white t-shirt. "Thanks," she told the driver.
"All your uniforms?"
"Yeah. They're supposed to send me new ones. Oh, hey," she said, noticing Zero. "Thanks, Officer Blake. I can take it from here."
Then a classic--and monochromatic--Beetle pulled up, and Miho got out, slammed the door, and stalked off toward the Sin. "Okay," the driver, a guy in a trenchcoat, called through the open window. "Tell the girls I said 'hi.' Or...don't. Whatever." Then he left, too, leaving Zero and Z.
Zero jerked her head in the direction Miho had gone and said, "Looks like her vacation didn't go too well."
"I think she's always like that. Is that where you were? Vacation?"
"Yeah!" Zero said, brightening, and she whipped a packet of photos out of her pocket. "I went to see my niece and nephew," she began, and the two of them headed up to the school, Zero shoving photos of Bru and BB at Z, Z making the appropriate 'awww' noises, all the way.
((ooc: *kills three birds with one stone* I'm baaaack!))
